My Easter Chariot!

This Easter weekend was exceptionally busy, and I felt it was my duty to document my many contributions to the household.

First, let’s talk about the garden.

As soon as the humans stepped outside, I knew they needed help. They always think they’re in charge, but honestly, without me, nothing would get done properly. I began by carefully inspecting every patch of soil—sniffing thoroughly, of course—to ensure it met my high standards. I may have also done a bit of digging. They called it “messy,” but I call it “aeration.”

I supervised the planting process very closely. Every time a hole was dug, I made sure to stick my nose in it immediately. You never know what might be hiding down there. Worms? Treasure? Snacks? A good gardener leaves no mystery unexplored.

Now, onto my greatest achievement of the weekend: the wheelbarrow.

At first, I wasn’t sure about it. It looked suspicious. But after some investigation (and a few cautious sniffs), I realized it was actually a royal chariot. Naturally, I climbed in.

The humans seemed amused, but I could tell they were honored to transport such an important passenger. As they pushed me around the garden, I maintained a dignified pose—ears alert, chest out, surveying my kingdom. Occasionally, I would shift slightly to ensure maximum comfort. A professional must always prioritize ergonomics.

Between rides, I continued my duties:

  • Barking at unseen dangers

  • Chasing away imaginary intruders

  • Keeping a close eye on any passing birds (very suspicious creatures)

And of course, I took breaks. Gardening is hard work. One must rest in the sun, preferably in the exact spot the humans were about to use.

By the end of the day, the garden looked… different. The humans seemed pleased, so I assume I did an excellent job.

All in all, it was a perfect Easter weekend—full of fresh air, important responsibilities, and well-deserved wheelbarrow rides.

I hope your Easter was just as productive.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a nap to attend to. 🐾
